With the evolving COVID-19 situation, and the uncertainty that comes with it, we want you to know that Neat is here for you. True to our mission of enabling the entrepreneur economy, here’s what we’re doing.
We’re putting our customers first
From today until the end of May, we’re waiving card subscription fees and transaction fees for incoming or outgoing bank transfers. We’ve structured this as a monthly refund which we’ll automatically top up to your account. We hope that we can make it just a bit easier on everyone.
We recognize how blessed we are to run a financial technology business. Indeed this is the type of environment in which technology shows its resilience. Nevertheless, delivering a stable and very high standard of service continues to be top of our mind.
Neat is deployed in the cloud. That means no matter where you are, you can still access your business dashboard or Neat app and use Neat as you would normally. All our features – from global payments, accounting integrations, to topping up your Neat Cards – are operating smoothly and as normal.
Our people, our asset
Our own team members are our greatest resource, and it’s therefore been extremely important to create a safe working environment for everyone at Neat, including supplies of masks, hand sanitisers and alternative transport measures to avoid crowds.
We’ve operated on a flexible work from home policy from the start. Because our primary collaboration tools are online, we’ve had an easier time transitioning into our current set-up where many colleagues are working remotely.
That being said, we’ve made some active changes in how we connect. We’ve made all our meetings accessible by video conferencing and have intentionally pushed for over-communication. For example, we have created “swarms” where remote team members get together via video calls at regular times throughout the day, even if it’s just to say hi.
Adapting to build a digital community
We’ve decided not to host any physical events for the time being – however, our commitment to community remains as strong as ever.
We’ve had the opportunity to partner with some truly incredible digital-first solutions, like Remo, that enable us to take our popular community events online.

The added benefit of hosting online community events is that we can make those events available to people all over the world. We hope to see you there!
